Something I thought was really interesting about this newest episode of Abbott (4.03) were the parallels in the way Ava acted around O’Shon and Janine.

It’s well known that Ava has a million insults about Janine, usually focusing on her height or fashion choices or general demeanor, and she makes really similar jabs at O’Shon. He’s a nerd, he’s poor, his outfits are weird, etc.

I also think that it’s interesting how Ava, in both cases, is in denial of her feelings for both people. She struggles to admit that she cares for Janine, and she struggles to admit that she might just be romantically interested in O’Shon.
